How He Became Our Pastor
- Rev. Ki-Jong So became our church's pastor since July 1995. Before that, he was a member of United Methodist Publishing House in Nashville. When he was requested by our church members to be our pastor, he had to do some struggling procedures because of various reasons, however he received this task with belief.
Profile
- Our pastor has various career history. First, he was graduated in So-Kang University in Korea majoring Economics. And then he went to US to study more at Penn State Univ. as Ph.D. At that time, he met Jesus and he changed his major to Divinity. He graduated Vanderbilt Univ. as master of divinity and Drew Univ. as master of philosophy and Harvard Univ. as master of theology and finally Drew Univ. as Doctor of Philosophy.
He was a pastor for several churches including North Carolina Korean Church, New Jersey American Church and now Nashville Korean Church. In 1994, he returned to Nashville and worked for United Methodist Publishing House in Nashville.
